FAQ

  • What is the Wellcentra Program?

For individual patients, Wellcentra facilitates a voluntary prescription benefit program that allows individuals patients to access prescription medications at zero copay. It works alongside your existing prescription benefit plan, not as a replacement.  For self-insured businesses, the Wellcentra Platform is a value-added service that offers significant savings over domestically-sourced prescription medications. The Wellcentra Program guides each patient through the self-importation process, empowering the patient and business alike to access alternative sources of prescription medication from the same FDA-approved manufacturers that supply the U.S. market and take control of their prescription spending.

  • Where do the medications come from?

All medications are sourced by the patients directly from licensed pharmacists located in countries that have safety and licensing regulations equivalent to or, in some cases, stricter than U.S. standards. The medications are:

All medications accessed through Wellcentra’s network are manufactured in FDA-approved facilities and dispensed by licensed pharmacists. Patients will always have access to the dispensing pharmacist in the event of any questions.
